 Charter Cable TV outage Thursday January 28th between 7am-5pm

Description

Charter Cable will replace a Fiber Optic cabe tomorrow, that provides Cable TV to the campus between the hours of  7am -5pm   There will be a period of time during this outage period  when there will be  a loss of Charter Cable TV  Services .

 SSO Service Interuption

Description

Pass through Single Sign On (SSO) links in MyGateway were intermittently failing due to a crashed database connector.  Restarting the services fixed the connection and SSO should be working properly now.

 UMSL Web Applications Outage

 Software unavailable in Lab/Class

Description

ChemDraw 15 and Minitab 17 are currently unavailable in the Lab/Classroom environment.   We are waiting for the vendor to provide the purchased license keys.

ChemDraw 15 can be made to work temporarily by clicking ‘Cancel’ on the first window, “Activate Later”  on the second window, and “Cancel” on the third.

We apologize for any inconvenience.

 Receiving Reports Playing Kaltura Video in Mygateway Courses “Access Denied” error

Description

We been notified by students and instructors that  Kaltura video posted in Mygateway courses  are receiving Access Denied errors when attempting to watch specific videos.  We are working with vendor to correct this issue.  Will post a update  when there is a resolve.

Update 1/27, on current  Notification  Vender resolution.

Planned updating scripts for Migration of Categories to take place by vendor  during normal  Sunday’s  Outage Window.  Starting scripts for background migration of KAF categories on Sunday January 31st  6am to 10am.

 West County Network Outage

Description

There is currently a utility outage at the West County facility.  ITS is working with the vendor to restore services.

 Printing outage

Description

Several users reported receiving error messages while printing this morning.  An issue was discovered with connectivity to the accounting web service.  After a restart of the service, the problem was resolved.  If you continue to have issues with printing, please contact the Technology Support Center.
