ITS will be upgrading the network equipment in Oak Hall on Sunday 7/22/18 beginning at 6:30am.  Users may experience brief outages, both wired and wireless, during this time.

 Scheduled Maintenance – MoreNet Internet link – Tuesday July 17 2018

Start Time: 7/17/18 4:00 am - End Time: 7/17/18 5:00 am

Description

MoreNet (our internet provider) will be working on one of our links out to the internet Tuesday from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm.  Networking will disable this link at 4:00 am to prevent disruption during the day.  Any outage should be brief as the network reroutes.   Networking will enable this link on Wednesday at 4:00 am.

 Network Outage 1st floor Oak Hall

Description

There is a network issue affecting 1st floor of Oak Hall.  All wired and wireless network is unavailable.  Network is investigating the issue at this time.

 

2:00pm – Issue resolved.  There was a faulty connection to the network equipment and it has been repaired.

 Network Outage – Marillac Hall –

Description

Power outage has cause a network outage in parts of Marillac hall.

8:30 – Maintenance is currently working with Ameren to isolate the power issues.  No estimate on time of repair.

 MSC 3rd Floor

Description

The network equipment on 3rd floor MSC had an electrical issue and service was unavailable.  The problem has been fixed and service has been restored.
