Blogs.umsl.edu and other WordPress sites are temporarily unavailable due to an unresponsive web service.  Services are being restarted.

 911 Cellular Continuously Reconnecting

Description

We are investigating several reports that 911 cellular button on the desktop on the NTIs appears to be reconnecting continuously.

 

The software company has opened up another portal to allow for more traffic to pass through their servers, which appeared to have resolved this issue.

 UMSL Oracle Database Maintenance

Start Time: 1/27/17 5:30 pm - End Time: 1/27/17 7:30 pm

Description

All production UMSL Oracle databases will be down while the latest security patches are applied.  Most web applications running on apps.umsl.edu, fusion.umsl.edu and coe.umsl.edu will be unavailable during the maintenance period.

 UMSL Oracle Database Outage

The Oracle database SLPR will be restarted per the vendor to resolve a performance issue.  Web applications running on apps.umsl.edu, fusion.umsl.edu and/or coe.umsl.edu may be briefly unavailable.

Description

The Oracle database SLPR experienced a brief (30 second) outage.  Web applications running on apps.umsl.edu, fusion.umsl.edu and/or coe.umsl.edu may have experienced errors and/or degraded performance.  The service has been restored.
