Email triggers for ALL surveys in the Qualtrics survey platform ( do not appear to be working for any user.

The Qualtrics Brand Administrator has opened a ticket with Qualtrics support.

 Several Classroom and lab computers will not get updates and does not load properly


Several computers could not update Windows and would go into a perpetual loop and would not fully load. Classroom and lab computers are no longer searching for Windows updates and are currently functioning. Server Administrators are still looking into the cause.

 Proactive server maintenance

ITS system administrators will perform proactive maintenance on various servers.

Several services will be temporarily unavailable, including:

  • Faculty/Staff MyDocuments and Department Shares
  • Print and fax services
  • Virtual Desktops

 UMSL Data Center power outage


The UMSL data center unexpectedly lost power, and all campus-hosted data services are experiencing an interruption. ITS staff is working to restore services.

Update 3:56 pm 2/14/19 – The Technology Support Center telephones are not currently working.  If you would like to report a problem with a computing service or piece of computing equipment, please go to and put in a ticket.  Thank you.

Update 8:40 pm 2/14/19 – Many campus applications remain unavailable at this time. ITS expects replacement parts to be delivered on Friday morning, and will continue to work to restore services.

 All computers in classrooms and labs stuck in maintenance mode.


Update:  all services should be restored.  Please call 516-6852 for any issues logging into classroom/lab computers


The computers in all classrooms and labs are currently stuck in maintenance mode.  The system administrator is currently troubleshooting.

 Software unavailable in Lab/Class


ChemDraw 15 and Minitab 17 are currently unavailable in the Lab/Classroom environment.   We are waiting for the vendor to provide the purchased license keys.

ChemDraw 15 can be made to work temporarily by clicking ‘Cancel’ on the first window, “Activate Later”  on the second window, and “Cancel” on the third.
