Zoom is experiencing a full system outage. Their technicians are working on the issue.
Description
Some users are experiencing difficulty with accessing Zoom meetings. They receive a warning that their version of Zoom does not meet minimum requirements. A convenient method of upgrading to a supported version for campus Windows computers is available by following the directions below:
Installation should take only a few minutes and will upgrade your existing Zoom application to a supported version.
Description
Zoom is reporting longer than normal processing times on cloud recordings. Working with vendor on the backlog of zoom cloud recordings.

Zoom is now fully operational. If you experience problems, please contact the Help Desk via https://help.umsl.edu or click the chat button.
Zoom outage – unable to login to Zoom website – Zoom client login still working. Technicians are currently investigating the issue. Users are currently unable to join Zoom meetings via Canvas.
Description
With the Zoom sub-accounts move to the umsystem.zoom.us domain this weekend, the old meeting URL’s were supposed to be redirecting users to the proper meeting. We are working with Zoom to investigate getting that redirect working properly.
Old Zoom meeting redirects are now working correctly.

Zoom Cloud Recording processing times are currently delayed due to excessive demand. Zoom engineering team is actively working to resolve this issue.
Customers having issues with phone dial-in are encouraged to try using the “Computer Audio” option.

Zoom is currently producing a launching error for attendees:
java.net.UnknownHostException: https Working with vendor to reslove the problem. As of 4:00 PM, 4/2/2018 Vendor is now working with application engineers on this problem with participants receiving error and no entry to Zoom session which still occuring. AS 10:00 AM, 4/3/2018 Vendor is still working on problem. We do have a alternative for the faculty that do need to conduct a Zoom session to Manually create a Zoom Meeting using the steps below 1. In a open browser Sigh In to your Zoom account at https://umslcanvas.zoom.us 2. Click on MyMeetings 3. Click on Schedule a Meeting 4. Name your Meeting and click on Save 5. The next window will give you notification options, Go to the header titled: Invite Attendees, this field area has a meeting URL that you can copy and post in a class email to all students or in course Module in Canvas has a URL link. Understand Students may sign in to the sessions with the name they entered and joined the session with.
