Scheduled Maintenance – Telephone Upgrade

7/15 Update: Telephone upgrade has been completed. Please follow link in email announcement for instructions on installing new communicator client.

7/14 Update 2:Upgrade is complete and phones should be working. The communicator application upgrade is not launching as expected. Telephone Services will  continue to test and monitor the application until 7/15 and will provide an update if needed.

7/14 Update: ITS Telephone Services continues to work on testing the environment. The upgrade is completed and we are working through any issues we find.


On July 13/14 Telephone Services will be performing an upgrade to the Campus ShoreTel/Mitel phone system. Maintenance will begin at 5:30PM on July 13 and should be completed by Noon on July 14.  During this time period, users may experience loss of phone service, loss of connection to ShoreTel Communicator, loss of Soft Phone connectivity and delayed delivery of voicemail messages.
