Description

ITS system administrators will apply critical security updates to servers. There will be brief disruptions to:

  • Print and fax services
  • TritonApps sessions
  • SharePoint sites (with umsl.edu and umsystem.edu addresses)
  • Remote Desktop Gateway
  • UMSL Secure File Share
  • Gitlab repository for Computer Science projects (Scheduled 2:00pm – 4:00pm)

PeopleSoft applications including MyView, MyHR, etc. will not be affected

SharePoint sites with sharepoint.com addresses will not be impacted

 Computer Education & Training Center – Network Outage – February 24, 2025,10:30 AM –

Description

FEBRUARY 24, 2025, 12:15 pm

Power has been restored to the facility and all network services have been verified by on-site contacts.

 

FEBRUARY 24, 2025, 10:45 am

It was determined that there is a power outage in the building. An electrician has been dispatched.

 

FEBRUARY 24, 2025, 10:30 am

The network team is investigating a network outage at CETC. All network and telephone services are affected.

 VPN Connection Issues

Description

Users were experiencing issues connecting to VPN (tritonvpn.umsl.edu)

The issue appears to be resolved, technicians are monitoring the service.

Those attempting to remote into their workstation, can utilize the Remote Desktop Gateway:
