Remote Site Network Outage – February 15 2:30 PM –
Description
UMSL remote sites (Lindell and East St. Louis Eye Center, Children Advocacy Center Kirkwood and West Pine, Computer Education & Training Center) are experiencing a network outage caused by ATT circuits.
They are currently investigating with no estimated time of repair.

We are currently investigating a large AT&T outage affecting circuits in the eastern part of the state. We have engaged AT&T and are currently troubleshooting.

AT&T has confirmed a facility issue that they are troubleshooting and isolating

AT&T technician is now at the central office to continue isolation efforts.

AT&T technicians have identified an issue on a backhaul/DWDM device at a St Louis central office that is causing a mass outage on their network. No ETR at this time

AT&T has identified the fiber failure, and emergency locates are now in the process before repair begins. No ETR yet.

AT&T is still pending emergency locates to perform excavation to determine the extent of the damage. No ETR.

Locates are complete, and excavation is underway. Still no ETR.

Repair crews are pulling new cable now. Still no ETR.
7:00 The networks at all remote sites are back up and working now.
