 Adobe License Issue

Description

Update:

Adobe licensing updates have been successfully applied. There should be no more warning messages displayed. Software should function as normal.

 

Faculty and Staff with Adobe licenses may receive a message stating the license has expired.  The system wide license was renewed and technicians are working with Adobe to resolve the message. Those with licenses can continue to utilize Adobe by clicking “ok”.

 Oracle Database Patching – Fri Jul 29 5:30pm – 8:30pm

Description

ITS database administrators will apply critical security updates to Oracle databases. There will be brief disruptions to:

  • Web applications running on apps.umsl.edu, fusion.umsl.edu and coe.umsl.edu
  • Oracle databases

PeopleSoft applications including MyView, MyHR, etc. will not be affected.

Update 2022/07/29 6:15pm: Updates have been applied successfully.

 UMSL Remote site Networking issues. (Child advocacy centers, Flushing Meadows CETC, Lindell and East Saint Louis optometry)

Description

There is a network outage at the UMSL remote locations (Child advocacy centers, Flushing Meadows CETC, Lindell and East Saint Louis optometry). We are currently working with ATT and morenet to find out an estimated time for the return of service. During this time networking and telephone services will be unavailable at these locations.

 Mark Twain Building Power issues

Description

The Mark Twain building is currently without power.  Campus Police informed ITS that electrical power is out on Florissant Road.  There is a potential for other buildings to lose power as well.

 

7/26/22 6am.  Mansion Hills is now without power

7/26/22 8:50am  RCEW is without power

 Social Sciences Building Networking outage
