 Web server maintenance – Fri, Jul 1 5:30-7:30pm

Description

ITS will temporarily switch website traffic to an upgraded “standby” server in order to ensure high availability of services.

No extended outages are expected, but access to these services could be briefly impacted:

  • WWW sites
  • Web applications running on apps.umsl.edu, fusion.umsl.edu and coe.umsl.edu
  • UMSL Blogs and other WordPress blogs
  • SharePoint sites
  • TritonApps sessions

PeopleSoft applications including MyView, MyHR, etc. will not be affected.

ITS system administrators will apply critical security updates to Windows servers. There will be expected disruption to:

  • Print and fax services
  • TritonApps sessions
  • SharePoint sites
  • Remote Desktop Gateway
  • WWW sites

PeopleSoft applications including MyView, MyHR, etc. will not be affected.

 ABH Network Maintenance 6/19/22 6am

ITS will be preforming network maintenance on Sunday 6/19/22 beginning at 6am.  Users may experience a brief interruption to network access including wired, wireless, and telephone service.

 Data Center Firewall Maintenance

Start Time: 6/5/22 8:00 am - End Time: 6/5/22 10:00 am

Description

On Sunday, June 5th between 8 and 10 AM UMSL will update their data center Firewall. Although we do not expect any substantial outage, it is possible for there to be periodic drops in traffic to UMSL hosted SharePoint, Web Applications and other services run out of the UMSL data center.
