 Windows Server Patching – Friday, Feb. 28, 2020

Description

ITS system administrators will apply critical security updates to Windows servers.

There will be brief disruptions to:

 Telephone Services Temporary Outage

Description

There will be temporary intermittent service to certain analog phone systems on campus to repair a piece of hardware. This will include select building alarms and a small number of individual analog phone lines. The outage should be complete in under 10 minutes.

 

Service on these analog phone lines has been restored.

 Degraded service: Mitel huntgroups.

Description

Call queuing services for two campus huntgroups are currently degraded.  We are rebooting the device, and will update this space momentarily.

** UPDATE **

A phone switch had locked up, and has been rebooted.  All services have been restored.  Please contact the Technology Support Center:  Attention To: Telephone Services with any related issues.

 Internet and Telephone services outage at UMSL remote sites 2/10/2020

Description

There is an internet and telephone services outage at Child advocacy center kirkwood and westpine, ITE, CETC, Lindell eye center and East STL eye center. ITS is currently investigating the issue.

 

The cause of this issue has been identified as equipment failure within the AT&T network.  The equipment has been replaced and services are restored as of 3:50pm 2/10/2020

 Scheduled Outage Telephone Services

Start Time: 2/5/20 10:30 pm - End Time: 2/5/20 11:30 pm

Description

Telephone Services will be restarting two switches at 10:30pm tonight, to be finished before 11:30pm. Some users may notice intermittent trouble with calls during this time.
