 Telephone Services – Some users may experience authentication failure

Description

We are investigating reports that the Mitel Connect client is not able to reach the server.

 

The Mitel Connect client is once again allowing login without issue, after the replacement of a problematic certificate on the server.

 Shibboleth Authentication Issues

Description

UM has resolved this issue.

 

The Shibboleth servers are currently experiencing Intermittent sign-in issues. Technicians at UM are working to resolve the issue.

Services affected such as Canvas, MyView and other web services that utilize Shibboleth for authentication.

 UMSL Oracle Database Maintenance

Start Time: 1/16/20 10:00 pm - End Time: 1/16/20 10:30 pm

Description

There will be brief/intermittent outages of all UMSL production Oracle databases while maintenance is being performed.  Most web applications running on apps.umsl.edu, fusion.umsl.edu and coe.umsl.edu will be temporarily unavailable during the maintenance period.

PeopleSoft applications including MyView, MyHR, etc. will not be affected.

 South Campus Electrical issues

Description

South Campus is experiencing electrical issues specifically Bellerieve Hall, ELS, and the baseball field.  Maintenance is currently working on the issue

 OWA Email Outage (Fac/Staff)

Description

UPDATE:

The faculty/staff Outlook Web Access is now available. Please use the following URL to access webmail:
https://owa.umsystem.edu/owa

 

Username will be SSOID@umsystem.edu

 

 

 

OWA (owa.umsl.edu) is currently not working as expected due to a technical issue with setting up the service with 0365. The UM System IT Messaging team has a case open with Microsoft 0365 services to investigate and resolve the issue.
