  • UMSL Blogs and other WordPress blogs
  • Library databases

 mysharepoint.umsl.edu not responding

Description

Reports are coming in of users having problems connecting to mysharepoint.umsl.edu.  ITS is aware of the issue and working to resolve it.

Update: At this time, all SharePoint sites should be functioning normally.  Please report any further issues to the Technical Support Center.

 Panopto Services outage for Maintenance Saturday June 22 8:00 pm to 11:00PM

Start Time: 6/22/19 8:00 pm - End Time: 6/22/19 11:00 pm

Description

ALL  Panopto Services will be unavailable,  This includes the following:

1. Panopto videos posted in Canvas will not be available to view during this 3 hour upgrade window.

2. Panopto Recorder will not be able to login and record lecture capture during this 3 hour upgrade window

Vendor notification of upgrade from version 5 to 6

This upgrade will require downtime:

  • Site maintenance will begin at 9:00 pm EDT
  • We expect up to 3 hours of downtime

During the time your site is offline, you will not be able to access recordings on your server and any attempts to upload from clients will result in a “Server unable to connect” message

 Remote Site Outage – Maintenance – Saturday June 8 12:00 – 6:00 am

Description

UMSL’s  internet provider (MOREnet) will be upgrading network equipment in the Saint Louis Hub facility to improve performance.   All internet traffic from the following remote sites will be affected.  The following sites are Grand Center (KWMU),  Kathy Weinman Center in Kirkwood,  Children Advocacy center downtown, Optometry center downtown and East St. Louis, Innovative Technology Enterprise (ITE) and Missouri Institute of Mental Health (MIMH).    Estimated duration is 2 hours.

 Network Maintenance Sunday 6/9/19 CNS 2nd Floor & Bradford Wireless Access

Description

ITS will be preforming maintenance on Sunday 6/9/19 beginning at 7am

  1. CNS 2nd floor users will be moved to new network equipment and will experience a brief outage
  2. Bradford will be unavailable for about 20 minutes, wireless access will be unavailable during this time.

 UMSL Web Application Maintenance

Description

ITS will be performing maintenance on the application servers hosted on apps.umsl.edu.  Users may be prompted to log in again while the application servers are restarted.
