 Canvas Course Combo Issue

Description

Over the weekend a data load issue caused problems with Canvas courses that are combined with other courses. The data issue caused these courses to combine with incorrect courses. This issue has been fixed, and all course combos in Canvas should be working again.

 Printing outage

Description

Due to an issue with name resolution, users may experience problems printing on campus.  The issue is being addressed and we expect printing to be available soon.

This issue has now been resolved.  If printing issues persist please contact the Help Desk for further information and assistance.

 MyGateway Node Down

Description

4pm, Saturday, Feb 11, 2017 to 4am, Sunday, Feb 12 – Users reported and logs confirm that one of the four MyGateway nodes was not accepting web traffic last Saturday evening.  This would have affected about one quarter of our users and kept them from accessing the site unless they changed their Internet address (moved to another network).  From the logs it looks like the site was compromised in a way that prevented automatic fail-over from taking the bad node offline.  Therefore, users attached to that node continued to be blocked until the node performed a scheduled nightly restart at 4am.  We are investigating how to improve the automated fail-over in the future.
