Description

We will be upgrading the OS for the Network Access Control Server on 9/30/15 beginning at 7 am.  Users may experience issues when trying to use the campus wireless during this maintenance window.

 Windows Server Patching and Oracle Maintenance

Start Time: 9/25/15 5:30 pm - End Time: 9/25/15 8:30 pm

Description

ITS system administrators will apply critical security updates to Windows servers.

There will be brief disruptions to:

  • Faculty/Staff MyDocuments and Department Shares
  • Student K: drives, including Unix home directories and personal web pages
  • Secure file shares (RMS)
  • Print and fax services
  • TritonApps sessions
  • SharePoint sites

ITS database administrators will perform scheduled maintenance on Oracle servers

There will be disruptions to various web applications during this time.

 Provincial House & Nursing Admin Building network outage 9/20/15 7am to 7:30am

Description

On Sunday 9/20/15 ITS will be rebooting the Provincial House network equipment in order to load new software.  Network services including wired, wireless, and phones will be unavailable.  The Nursing Admin Building will also be without these services during this time.

Description

Web apps on apps.umsl.edu and fusion.umsl.edu were performing slowly due to high utilization of server resources.  These services have been restarted.

 Intermittent Problems connecting to TritonNet Wireless.

Description

We are currently experiencing issues with users connecting and staying connected to TritonNet.  We are working on the issue.

 

Wireless user access request to our Network Access Control Server (Bradford) were being delayed.  We have resolved that issue at this time.
