Web applications were unavailable due to application software issues.  Web applications hosted on www.umsl.apps, coe.umsl.edu, and fusion.umsl.edu have been restored and are now accessible again.

 New Computer Registrations

Description

We are currently experiencing slow service with our Network Control Access server (Bradford).  We are working with the vendor to resolve the issue.

 

We are going to upgrade the code to the server.  Currently in progress.

 

We worked with the vendor in resolving this issue.  We continue to monitor the progress.

 

8/25/15.  We believe the issue has been resolved, but continue to monitor.

 

8/26/15.  The issue has been resolved.

Several UMSL websites will be moved to new hardware, capable of handling more network traffic.  Each site will be briefly unavailable while being moved.

 Network Access Control Server

Start Time: 8/21/15 8:00 am - End Time: 8/21/15 11:00 am

Description

On Friday 8/21/15 ITS networking will be upgrading the Network Access Control system.  During this time there will be 10 to 15 minute periods that new connections to wireless will be unsuccessful.   Those already connected to the wireless network will not be affected.

 New ITS System Status Notification Service

Description

New ITS System Status Notification Service

UMSL ITS has a new method for notifying the campus of system interruptions, maintenance downtime, and other informational announcements.  Events will be posted to a new website which will show all currently active events/notifications.  These notifications will also be posted on Twitter and Facebook.

Email Notifications

Email notifications will be sent for all new events posted on the website.  The email will contain brief information about the event, with a link to the details on the website.

If you would like to start or stop receiving email notifications (Opt In / Opt Out) when a new event is posted, go here:

Searching for Notifications

To search through all Active or Resolved events, use the tools available on the right.  You can filter for all events related to a particular Service, by specific field values, or by date posted.

RSS Feeds

From the main page, you can click the RSS icon  at the top to set up an RSS feed for all currently active events.  If you filter by service, you can click the RSS icon at the top to set up an RSS feed for that particular service.
