ITS is working to resolve the loss of Internet connectivity at Mansion Hills.

 Turnitin Maintenance

Description

We’re just dropping you a note to remind you that the following Turnitin services will be unavailable on July 10, 2018:

  • Turnitin (including all integrations)
  • Feedback Studio for iOS
  • iThenticate
  • WriteCheck

To ensure that services remain stable, particularly during high submission periods, this maintenance will include several hardware updates and performance improvements.

July 10 10 A.M. – 6 P.M.

How will you be affected?

While we’d love to provide an uninterrupted service, our machines require a health check every now and again…

Users will be unable to submit and grade during this maintenance window, so please ensure that any submission deadlines are adjusted to fall outside of the window.

 UMSL Email and Web Applications (including My Gateway)

Description

An issue was identified affecting authentication on various campus web applications.  The issue also affected campus email.  The outage began at approximately 6:30 AM this morning.  At this time all issues appear to be resolved.  The cause is being determined at this time.  Please report any further issues to the Help Desk.

 Windows Server Patching

Description

ITS system administrators will apply critical security updates to Windows servers.

There will be brief disruptions to:

  • Faculty/Staff MyDocuments and Department Shares
  • Secure file shares (RMS)
  • Print and fax services
  • TritonApps sessions
  • SharePoint sites
  • Panopto videos

 Network Outage 1st floor Oak Hall

Description

There is a network issue affecting 1st floor of Oak Hall.  All wired and wireless network is unavailable.  Network is investigating the issue at this time.

 

2:00pm – Issue resolved.  There was a faulty connection to the network equipment and it has been repaired.
