 Learning Studio Laptops Unable to Login

Description

Users are currently unable to log into any of the laptops in the learning studios or the Clark Hall 200 laptop cart.  UMSL ITS is working on the issue and will update when it is resolved.

 

Secondary authentication server was giving a certification error, switched to primary server, lab calls machines should be able to log in.  Working with vendor to fix the issue.

 Lucas Hall Networking Upgrade 5/21/2017 – 4am to Noon

Start Time: 5/21/17 4:00 am - End Time: 5/21/17 12:00 pm

Description

Networking will be upgrading equipment on the second floor of Lucas Hall.  The maintenance is expected to last 6 hours.  Telephones and both wired and wireless Internet will be unavailable to the 1st through 3rd floors while the equipment is being upgraded.

 

Maintenance successful.  Completed in 6 hours.

Description

UM’s Division of Information Technology is reporting network issues, which may affect access to hosted services such as faculty/staff email, MyGateway, MyView, etc. Technicians are investigating the problem.

 Network upgrade — TJL — May 17, 2017 @ 2:00 AM – 7:00 AM

Description

Networking will be upgrading equipment in TJL.  The maintenance is expected to last 3 – 4 hours.  Telephones and both wired and wireless Internet will be unavailable to the parts of the building while the equipment is being upgraded.

 Charter Cable services on our campus is not available at this time

Description

Experiencing a campus-wide Charter Cable TV Outage at this time.   Working with Charter Communication to restore services.   This is a widespread outage at the Charter at Overland which provides campus cable program services.  http://downdetector.com/status/spectrum/map/
