 Network Outage – Fiber maintenance to Regional Center for Education Work (RCEW) 2/8 – 9/2024 3:00 pm. –

Description

 

UMSL will be performing maintenance on the fiber link to RCEW.  During the maintenance, all networks, including the telephone, will be unacceptable, which will affect the campus network only.

 Network Outage – AAB, 01/18/24

Description

UMSL Networking is investigating network issues at the Arts Administration Building.  Currently the building has no wired, wireless or IP telephone services.

 

 

Construction-related issues caused an extended power potage to network equipment.  services have been restored

 Server Upgrades – Fri Jun 23 5:30pm-11:59pm

Description

ITS system administrators will restart TritonApps servers in order to complete scheduled software updates.  Please ensure that any work is saved prior to 5:30pm.

Additionally, ITS system administrators will upgrade servers providing campus DNS and DHCP networking services. Servers will be upgraded one at a time, so no impact is expected.

 Network Mantenance MSCGN switch reboot Sunday 5/7/23 6:30am

Description

ITS will need to restart the network equipment in MSC Garage North for software maintenance, should take approximately thirty minutes.

 Network Maintenance 5/3/20 Research First floor

 Research Building 3rd floor Network Outage

Description

The third floor data closet network equipment is down due to a water pipe break resulting in switch failure.  This will affect upper floors in Research as well.  Facilities is aware of the issue, no ETA for repairs.
