 Telepresence Unable to Connect to Remote Sites

Description

TelePresence is currently unable to connect to other sites. This issue should be fixed roughly in the next 20 minutes.

 Scheduled Maintenance – MoreNet Internet link – Tuesday July 17 2018

Description

MoreNet (our internet provider) will be working on one of our links out to the internet Tuesday from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm.  Networking will disable this link at 4:00 am to prevent disruption during the day.  Any outage should be brief as the network reroutes.   Networking will enable this link on Wednesday at 4:00 am.

 Internet 2 Service – MOREnet – Maintenance 5/20/2018 12:01 am – 1:00 am –

Description

Sites/Services Affected:

MOREnet members who need to access I2 or GPN resources during the upgrade.

 

Service Summary:

MOREnet engineers (Campus internet provider) will be adding an additional 10G of capacity into the GPN/I2 infrastructure. When completed, MOREnet will have an aggregated 20Gbps of connectivity into the GPN/I2 networks.

 

This outage will affect access to some internet sites from campus.

 Maintenance on Internet Links

Description

Will be performing fail over testing between our two Internet links. There may be a few short 5-10 minute periods where Internet access both to and from campus is down.

Testing should be complete by 7:00am.

 Wireless maintenance & Identity Server patch 10/18/2017 4:00 am – 6:00 am

Description

Networking will be preforming software upgrade on the wireless network on Wednesday 10/18/17 beginning at 4:00 am.  This will affect all wireless access.

 

Networking will also be patching the Identity server which might impact Learning Studio laptops, VPN and Guest access.

 Brief Internet Outage on Sunday Morning

Start Time: 10/1/17 6:00 am - End Time: 10/27/17 7:00 am

Description

On Sunday morning between 6 and 7 am there will be a brief internet outage while we do some maintenance on the campus network.This will be for all campus wired and wireless networks. The outage should only last a few minutes.
