 UMSL application services unavailable

Description

Several UMSL applications are currently unavailable, including:

  • Print and fax services (outgoing faxes not affected)
  • TritonApps sessions
  • SharePoint sites

ITS system administrators are working to restore services at this time.

 Windows Patching and Oracle Database Maintenance

Start Time: 11/22/19 5:30 pm - End Time: 11/22/19 8:30 pm

Description

ITS system administrators will apply critical security updates to Windows servers, and database administrators will perform Oracle maintenance.

There will be brief disruptions to:

  • Faculty/Staff MyDocuments and Department Shares
  • Secure file shares (RMS)
  • Print and fax services
  • TritonApps sessions
  • SharePoint sites

Database administrators will perform Oracle maintenance in preparation for upcoming upgrades.  Most web applications running on apps.umsl.edu, fusion.umsl.edu and coe.umsl.edu will be temporarily unavailable during the maintenance period.

PeopleSoft applications including MyView, MyHR, etc. will not be affected.

 Power outage – ITE & Missouri Institute of Mental Health – November 15 2:15 PM –

Description

All network and telephone services are down at 4633 World Pkwy due to power outage from Ameren and a failed generator.   Maintenace is currently investigating the issue.

 

Update: 2:50pm – Ameren’s power has been restored.   The generator is still offline and the vendor has been contacted for repairs.
