Network will be upgrading the software on the network switch in Provincial house / Villa to resolve a known issue. During the upgrade all network access and telephones services will be unavailable.

We’re currently experiencing issues at provincial house with network including Wireless wired and telephone services.

An issue was found and repaired. all connectivity should be restored shortly.

Users are currently unable to log into any of the laptops in the learning studios or the Clark Hall 200 laptop cart. UMSL ITS is working on the issue and will update when it is resolved.
Secondary authentication server was giving a certification error, switched to primary server, lab calls machines should be able to log in. Working with vendor to fix the issue.
Description
Networking will be upgrading equipment in TJL. The maintenance is expected to last 3 – 4 hours. Telephones and both wired and wireless Internet will be unavailable to the parts of the building while the equipment is being upgraded.

Networking will be performing maintenance on the wireless network on Wednesday 4/12/17 beginning at 5:30 am.
Affected services are classroom wireless, guest wireless and VPN.
Continue to work with vendor on server issues. Will preform additional maintenance Friday 4/14/17 at 5:30pm
After working with the vendor, we will be rebuilding the secondary server Sunday 5/14/17. Network authentication failures are possible but not expected.
We are still working with the vendor to resolve on going issues
We will be restarting the auth servers on Sunday 5/21 7am, This could affect lab/classrooms, VPN, Triton Video. Should take approximately 30 minute to 1 hour
Still working on the issue with the vendor. We are doing more testing Sunday 6/11/17, we do not anticipating any outages
We are still working with the vendor to get live logging working, this is not affecting connectivity to the network, just the ability to troubleshoot in case of issues.
We continue to work with the vendor on this issue.

ITS has restored access to the wireless TritonSecure network for classroom laptops. ITS will continue to work with vendor to determine root cause.
