The network equipment on 3rd floor MSC had an electrical issue and service was unavailable. The problem has been fixed and service has been restored.
Description
Networking will be upgrading the software on equipment located in the following buildings.
SCCB – South Campus Classroom Building
WEB – Ward E. Barns Building ( ED Collabitat)
ESH 4th floor – Express Scripts Hall
TJL – Thomas Jefferson Libaray
VRH – Villa Resident Hall
SCB – South Campus computer Building
SH – Stadler Hall
All network and Telephone service will be unavailable during the reboot. (approx. 10 min.)

Networking will be updating the configuration of our wireless network. This will require a reboot of all wireless access points on campus.
Each building will be rebooted individually lasting up to 10 minutes per building. During this time all wireless access will be unavailable.

North campus suffered a brief power outage that has caused the Tower network equipment to reboot affecting all network and telephone services in the building. All systems have been restored at this time.

11:00 pm – All remote sites are down. Contacted MOREnet and AT&T waiting for call back.
11:17 pm – received call back from John at MOREnet and this is an AT&T issue and he is working with them on repair. No eta at this time.

There was an issue with lack of connectivity for TritonNet users. We believe this issue to be resolved, but are continuing to monitor the situation.
