The UMSL data center unexpectedly lost power, and all campus-hosted data services are experiencing an interruption. ITS staff is working to restore services.
Update 3:56 pm 2/14/19 – The Technology Support Center telephones are not currently working. If you would like to report a problem with a computing service or piece of computing equipment, please go to help.umsl.edu and put in a ticket. Thank you.
Update 8:40 pm 2/14/19 – Many campus applications remain unavailable at this time. ITS expects replacement parts to be delivered on Friday morning, and will continue to work to restore services.

ITS will be upgrading the Network Access Control server on Sunday 2/3/19. TritonNet may be unavailable during this time.

This work will affect the following services: TritonNetGuest (wireless), TritonVideo (wireless) and vpn access to and from campus. Networking team does not expect the outage to last the entire time stated, but is reserving the entire time as a precaution.

Networking will be upgrading the network switch in the Villa residence hall area. We will keep the current switch active while we set up the new switch. Users may experience a brief outage while being moved to the new switch.

TritonNet wireless network on campus is experiencing issues. Technicians are currently working to correct the issue.

There was a brief network outage in part of South Campus due to a power issue. Everything seems to be restored now.

One of the switches in Research Building is having problems, Networking is on site trying to resolve the issue.

The hardware failure that caused network and IP Telephone outages to portions of the third and fourth floors of Research Building has been replaced. Network Services are now restored. If there are any outstanding network outages, please notify the Technology Support Center.
