 Seton Network Maintenance 4/21/19

Networking is going to be doing a software upgrade on networking equipment this Sunday in Seton hall. During this time there will be no network access including wired, wireless, and phone services.

 Power outage Express Scripts Hall (ESH) – Sunday April 7th – 8am to 10 am

Start Time: 4/7/19 8:00 am - End Time: 4/7/19 10:00 am

Description

Facilities will be working on the power on the 4th floor of ESH.   This will cause the VPN server to be unavailable during the outage.   There is also a risk of impacting telephone services during this outage.

 UMSL Data Center power outage

Description

The UMSL data center unexpectedly lost power, and all campus-hosted data services are experiencing an interruption. ITS staff is working to restore services.

Update 3:56 pm 2/14/19 – The Technology Support Center telephones are not currently working.  If you would like to report a problem with a computing service or piece of computing equipment, please go to help.umsl.edu and put in a ticket.  Thank you.

Update 8:40 pm 2/14/19 – Many campus applications remain unavailable at this time. ITS expects replacement parts to be delivered on Friday morning, and will continue to work to restore services.

 Scheduled Maintenance – Identity services engine – January 13, 2019 – 12:01 am to 1200 pm

Start Time: 1/13/19 12:01 am - End Time: 1/8/19 12:00 pm

Description

This work will affect the following services: TritonNetGuest (wireless),  TritonVideo (wireless) and vpn access to and from campus.    Networking team does not expect the outage to last the entire time stated, but is reserving the entire time as a precaution.

 Villa Network Upgrade
