 Problems with Telephone Switch

Description

The Network team is investigating a hardware failure of the telephone system.  A small group of users might see an impact.   It should resolve on its own however, to speed up the process, if you are experiencing issues, please reboot your phone by unplugging the ethernet cable out and back in

 Telephone Services – Workgroup outage

 Problems calling UM (Mizzou) extensions from UMSL phones

Description

IT is investigating a problem with UMSL numbers calling UM. We will update as soon as the providers give us an update.

The issue was between MU and their provider. It’s been resolved.

 Network Mantenance MSCGN switch reboot Sunday 5/7/23 6:30am

Description

ITS will need to restart the network equipment in MSC Garage North for software maintenance, should take approximately thirty minutes.

 Research Building 3rd floor Network Outage

Description

The third floor data closet network equipment is down due to a water pipe break resulting in switch failure.  This will affect upper floors in Research as well.  Facilities is aware of the issue, no ETA for repairs.
