 No Network on Remote Sites

Description

There was a fiber cut in St. Louis that is responsible for the Remote Sites outage. AT&T is working to fix it. There is no estimate on how long it will take to fix it at this moment.

Description

Networking will be upgrading the software on equipment located in the following buildings.
PAC -Performing art center
SLB – Science learning building
NAB – Nursing Admin. building
SRH – Seton Hall
SSB – Social Sciences and Business Building
JCP – J. C. Penney building.

All network and Telephone service will be unavailable during the reboot. (approx. 5 – 10 min.)

 Unscheduled maintenance – Remote Sites – 01/19/2018

Description

Network need to make changes at the following remote sites:

  • Optometry Center on Lindell
  • Children’s Advocacy center at west pine
  • Children’s Advocacy center at Kirkwood

These changes will cause all internet and telephone services to be unavailable for approximately 5 minutes.

 Center for Nano-science – Network Outage – 8/9/2017 8:00 AM

Description

CNS (center for nano-science) is currently experiencing a network outage.  This affects all network (wired, wireless) and phone service.  Networking team is currently investigating the outage.

 

UPDATE: Fiber feeding CNS was accidentally cut at the Benton hall renovation project.  Estimated 3 hours for repair.   All current occupants in CNS have been personally notified.

We are experiencing problems with inbound calls and are working with our service provider to resolve the problem. Until the issues are resolved users might experience disconnects or other problems.
