Description

ITS will perform maintenance on the campus ShoreTel server, which supports the campus phone system.  The Mitel Connect client will be unavailable during this time, and access to voicemail may be delayed.  Incoming and outgoing telephone calls will not be affected.

Networking will be upgrading the server network equipment.  There will be networking outages for departmental file shares, K: drives/MyDocuments (for faculty and staff with last names beginning K-Z), TritonApps sessions, and servers used for clinical or compliance data.

 ELS (Sassin building) Network Maintenance

 Seton Network Maintenance 4/21/19

 Power outage Express Scripts Hall (ESH) – Sunday April 7th – 8am to 10 am

Start Time: 4/7/19 8:00 am - End Time: 4/7/19 10:00 am

Description

Facilities will be working on the power on the 4th floor of ESH.   This will cause the VPN server to be unavailable during the outage.   There is also a risk of impacting telephone services during this outage.

 UMSL IP Phone system

Description

At approximately 10:51 AM a service handling phone connectivity became unresponsive.  Attempts to restart the service failed, so the system was restarted.  Scope: Cashiers, Financial Aid, and the Technology Support Center call groups.

 

UPDATE:  I believe this issue has been resolved.  Concerns?  Contact the Technology Support Center at extension 6034.

 UMSL Data Center power outage

Description

The UMSL data center unexpectedly lost power, and all campus-hosted data services are experiencing an interruption. ITS staff is working to restore services.

Update 3:56 pm 2/14/19 – The Technology Support Center telephones are not currently working.  If you would like to report a problem with a computing service or piece of computing equipment, please go to help.umsl.edu and put in a ticket.  Thank you.

Update 8:40 pm 2/14/19 – Many campus applications remain unavailable at this time. ITS expects replacement parts to be delivered on Friday morning, and will continue to work to restore services.

 Network equipment upgrade in Marillac Hall
