Description
Starting Saturday evening a fiber contractor will be performing maintenance that could isolate the remote sites from campus. While we are not expecting any downtime the possibility does exist. Downtime would affect both data and telephone services from the remote sites.

Wednesday 11/1/17, ITS will be upgrading Bradford, our network access control server. Access to Trito net and new system registration could be affected during this time.
Server has been successfully upgraded and is back in production.

A fiber optic connection supporting the EAB network needs to be moved. Doing so could create a very short network outage for wired and wireless networks within EAB. This outage could also affect wireless access with the Technology Learning Center.

Networking services in Woods Hall failed to restore cleanly following this morning’s scheduled power maintenance. All wired, wireless and phone services are now restored.
Description
Networking will be upgrading network equipment in Bellerive Hall. Wired and wireless Internet and phones will be unavailable during the maintenance. The maintenance is expected to take 2 hours or less.
Network upgrade failed due to unresolved errors. Maintenance will be rescheduled once resolved.

MOREnet, the campus ISP, will be upgrading software Thursday morning between 12:001am and 5:00am. Sometime during this window UMSL remote sites may experience a short network outage. This outage may be up to 10 minutes. Sites affected by this are Grand Center, CETC, CAC West Pine, CAC Kirkwood, ITE, the Optometry clinic on Lindell and the Optometry clinic in East St. Louis.
Due to the number of sites within the MOREnet network that need to be upgraded this work may carry over to the same window on Friday, 9/22.

On Sunday, 9/10, Networking Support will be replacing core networking hardware in Express Scripts Hall. Most buildings on campus should not experience any outages during this work.
There are some buildings that will be have no network access during this work. Included in this list are the Mathematics Technology Learning Center, Technology Learning Center, and the Education Administration Building
VPN services will also be unavailable during this time
