ITS will be preforming maintenance on the Oak Hall network equipment, specifically 3rd, 4th, & 6th floors. This work will require the equipment to restart. Users will have limited network access during this time.

ITS will be upgrading the network equipment in Oak Hall on Sunday 7/22/18 beginning at 6:30am. Users may experience brief outages, both wired and wireless, during this time.

Sunday morning the connection providing Internet to Grand Center will be upgraded. A brief outage will occur while the physical connection is moved from copper to fiber. This outage is expected to be less than 5 minutes, but could be longer if unforeseen issues arise.

Networking will be doing some maintenance on the switch in order to expand the network. Phones, Network wired and wireless access will be down during maintenance.

Need to failover the datacenter firewall from one datacenter to the other on Wednesday Morning so that other maintenance can take place over the weekend. There is no expected outage, but there is always the fringe possibility of something happening. Should be no user impact.

The north wing of Oak Residence Hall is currently without network access. We are actively working to resolve the issue. Wired network, Wireless network and campus-owned IP telephones are affected.
Networking has been restored to Oak Residence Hall North wing.
