 Brief Database interruption

Description

A runaway application temporarily consumed all available resources on a local database causing intermittent web application to fail.  The application was terminated and web applications are functioning normally again.

Description

There is a problem with the apps.umsl.edu web applications.  ITS is working to restore the services.

This issue has now been resolved.

 Linux server patching

There will be brief disruptions to:

 Desktop Panic Buttons

Description

As of 3/2/16 the Desktop Panic Buttons are functioning as they should.  Please continue to dial 314-516-5155 if you can or use the panic button as needed.

 

The 911Cellular desktop panic buttons are currently not functioning. 911Cellular is working on the issue. Please dial 516-5155 if you have an emergency. The company hopes to have this resolved shortly.

Description

An issue was identified that may have affected a small number of users when browsing apps.umsl.edu.  Some users may have encountered error messages for a short time.  This issue has now been resolved.

Description

The following UMSL web/fax/smtp applications are experiencing an outage:

  • m.umsl.edu
  • legacy.umsl.edu
  • fax.umsl.edu

Scan to e-mail is affected and some internal smtp applications.  Issue has now been resolved.
