ITS system administrators will apply critical security updates to Windows and Linux servers. There will be brief disruptions to:

  • Print and fax services
  • TritonApps sessions
  • SharePoint sites (with umsl.edu and umsystem.edu addresses)
  • Unix home directories
  • WWW sites
  • UMSL Blogs and other WordPress blogs
  • Library databases
  • Remote Desktop Gateway

PeopleSoft applications including MyView, MyHR, etc. will not be affected

SharePoint sites with sharepoint.com addresses will not be impacted

 help.umsl.edu is unavailable

Description

Cherwell, the system that provides our help.umsl.edu support system, is currently unavailable. Technicians are working to resolve it. More information is available at MU’s status entry: https://status.missouri.edu/incidents/b5yp8nqzp4q1

Please use phone, 314-516-6034, or in-person, 190 MSC, options to get assistance from us while Cherwell is unavailable.

 

Update at 2:40 pm on July 19, 2024:

We are still waiting on Cherwell to fix our UMSL environment (help.umsl.edu).

Update at 8:30 am on July 22, 2024:

Cherwell is available as of approximately 2 pm on Saturday, July 20, 2024.

 Adobe Account Migration

Description

UMSL faculty, staff and students should now be able to login and use Adobe software and services. Adobe has completed the current round of UMSL account migrations.

 Adobe Account Migration

Description

Update: Adobe’s current round of migrations are complete.

 

UMSL faculty, staff, and students will need to log back in to use Adobe products and services after a migration that begins tonight.

Adobe will be migrating UMSL faculty, staff, and student accounts starting at 10:00pm on Thursday, June 27, 2024. The migration will result in being logged out of Adobe software and services.

Adobe expects most accounts to be available for use on Friday, June 28, 2024 at 8 am. If your account is unavailable, please give Adobe through the weekend to finish the migration.

To login

    • Visit www.adobe.com and use your SSOID@umsystem.edu and password.
    • If prompted, select UMS-University of Missouri – St Louis

An update will be provided once all accounts have been migrated.

ITS system administrators will apply critical security updates to servers and Oracle databases. There will be brief disruptions to:

  • TritonApps sessions
  • Print and fax services
  • Remote Desktop Gateway
  • SharePoint sites (with umsl.edu and umsystem.edu addresses)
  • Web applications running on apps.umsl.edu, fusion.umsl.edu and coe.umsl.edu
  • Oracle databases (expected downtime 5:30pm – 8:30pm)
  • Kuali forms (specifically those using Oracle data)

PeopleSoft applications including MyView, MyHR, etc. will not be impacted

SharePoint sites with sharepoint.com addresses will not be impacted

The MyGateway web application will remain available with limited capacity

 Microsoft 365 sign-in issues

Description

UMSL ITS is receiving reports that some users are unable to sign to Microsoft 365 services, including email, due to an issue with missing account licenses. The issue is currently being investigated. Please see https://status.missouri.edu for updates.

 UMSL Oracle Database Maintenance – Fri Apr 19 5:30pm – 8:30pm

Description

There will be brief/intermittent outages of all UMSL production Oracle databases while maintenance is being performed.  Most web applications running on apps.umsl.edu, fusion.umsl.edu and coe.umsl.edu will be temporarily unavailable during the maintenance period.

PeopleSoft applications including MyView, MyHR, etc. will not be affected.

Description

The MyGateway web application is experiencing intermittent errors and/or preventing login. Developers are currently investigating.

Update: As of 1:15pm 4/4/2024, all services have been restored.
