Description

Some web pages on www.umsl.edu were intermittently returning a “Page not found” response.  Only departmental and personal web pages using the www.umsl.edu/~path/ format were affected. The issue has been resolved.

 Website for dba.umsl.edu

Description

The website for dba.umsl.edu was unavailable this afternoon due to a service-related error.  The error was resolved by restarting the web services.  No other websites are known to be affected.

 Web Search Appliance Maintenance

Description

On Tuesday, October 25 and Wednesday, October 26, we will be upgrading the operating software on the appliances that provide the search function on the main campus web page. This is expected to be a transparent rollover, but there is a possibility of short interruptions in the search function. If you have a problem, please retry your search later.

Additionally, there will be scheduled maintenance for IT storage systems on Sunday, August 14 from 6:30 am – 11:30 am.  Services are not expected to be impacted during Sunday morning’s maintenance.
