Description

Networking team will be making changes to our internet connection to campus to prepare for future hardware replacement.  During this change we will experience outages to internet and campus network.   This will affect all network and telephone access.

 

A portion of this work was complete.  The remainder will be re-scheduled

 Identity Service Outage – 11/08/2020 4:00 AM –

Description

Networking will be patching Identity Service hardware.  The outage should have minimal effect on user authentication during the patching.

 Identity Service (Authentication) migration – 10/11/2020 – 12:01 AM

Networking will be migrating to new Identity Service hardware  (User Authentication) Sunday morning.   This migration will impact all Wireless and VPN connected devices requiring users to login.

 VPN “Anyconnect” upgrade – Wednesday 5/6/2020 – 5:00am to 6:00am –

Description

Networking will be upgrading the current VPN.  We will need to take the VPN offline during the maintenance.

Any access through the VPN will be unavailable during this maintenance.

 VPN Scheduled Outage due to Building Power Testing- 05-19 from 4 am-Noon.

Start Time: 5/19/19 4:00 am - End Time: 5/19/19 12:00 pm

Description

Due to construction, the power will be turned off for a few hours affecting access to the VPN. If you need to Remote Desktop, please use the Remote Desktop Gateway.  Power outage Express Scripts Hall (ESH) – Sunday April 7th – 8am to 10 am

Start Time: 4/7/19 8:00 am - End Time: 4/7/19 10:00 am

Description

Facilities will be working on the power on the 4th floor of ESH.   This will cause the VPN server to be unavailable during the outage.   There is also a risk of impacting telephone services during this outage.
