Research Building 1st floor network issues

Description

There has been a hardware failure for the network equipment on the first floor of the Research Building.  ITS is working towards resolving the issue.

 EAB Network Maintenance 8/17/22 5am

Description

ITS will be upgrading the network equipment in EAB 8/15/22 beginning at 5am.  Users may experience brief network connectivity issues during this time.

 UMSL Remote site Networking issues. (Child advocacy centers, Flushing Meadows CETC, Lindell and East Saint Louis optometry)

Description

There is a network outage at the UMSL remote locations (Child advocacy centers, Flushing Meadows CETC, Lindell and East Saint Louis optometry). We are currently working with ATT and morenet to find out an estimated time for the return of service. During this time networking and telephone services will be unavailable at these locations.

 Mark Twain Building Power issues

Description

The Mark Twain building is currently without power.  Campus Police informed ITS that electrical power is out on Florissant Road.  There is a potential for other buildings to lose power as well.

 Social Sciences Building Networking outage

Description

Networking will be doing maintenance on the equipment in the social sciences building. This may cause an interruption in network usage. Phones may be unusable during this time.

ITS will be preforming network maintenance on Sunday 6/19/22 beginning at 6am.  Users may experience a brief interruption to network access including wired, wireless, and telephone service.

 South campus computer building – no network and phones

Description

There is equipment failure in the data closet due to water damage. Networking is in the process of replacing damaged equipment.
